For some reason turning 35 didn’t bother me. But turning thirty-six…yeah. Maybe it is cause it is on the down slope to 40…I don’t know. Same thing when I hit 30…that was ok. Thirty-one…not so much. The joke in my family is I’m not going to get any older…I’ll have more birthdays but I’m staying…

Birthday Cake
Yesterday got away from us and so we didn’t do my birthday cake until tonight. (Yesterday was my actual birthday.) Corey took the girls to the store. Ava picked out the cake. It was delicious!!!

We took Laney out to dinner for her birthday last night. She chose Texas Roadhouse. To her it’s the “peanut place”. If you don’t know it…they have buckets of peanuts in the shells and she loves shelling them and eating them. They have the best warm rolls as appetizers and cinnamon butter to completely lace…
