About me...
01My name is Jen Maddocks. I am a 40 year old designer, artist, photographer, wife and SAHM.
I live in the fabulous state of Colorado. I love the outdoors, my Westies, art, photography, the smell when it rains, clean sheets and wandering the woods. I’m an introvert and a home body but my husband of 22 years, who is my opposite, manages to drag me out of the house to enjoy hiking, biking. eating out and going to the movies. We have two daughters who are entering the teenage years so there is lots of drama in our house. Not sure I’m fond of that…but there is never a dull moment in our home. 02Jen Maddocks Designs started back in 2008.
I had been digital scrapbooking for about 2 years and just wanted to express myself in more ways that what was out there for supplies. Art has been a part of my life since I was a child. My grandmother was a painter, my mother is an artist and I followed suit. I discovered paper scrapbooking in 2006 and digital in 2008. Soon I was reading every online tutorial I could find to help me put my imaginations down on the screen. Looking back my first designs were pretty primitive. I’ve come a long way from first offering my designs on my blog, to several online stores, and now Digital Scrapbook Studio. 03Make sure you sign up for my newsletter and like my Facebook, Twitter and Google+ for the latest happenings.
The latest and greatest are my expansion into the Art Journal & Mixed Media world of digital scrapbooking. Also worth mentioning my Urban & Urban Grunge series. Those are personal as well as customer favorites. I also have other regular series going on like My Favorite & My Best templates, ARTAND series, and Go To Bases paper packs just to name a few. I have new releases on Fridays and those are 20% off for one week. When I have kits I bundle them and they are available at a discount of 36%.
