Saturday's email from Jessica Sprague for the Now We're Rockin With Photoshop included a challenge. It sounded a bit much and I wasn't going to do it. But this morning I was feeling a little adventurous. The girls are sick and I stayed home from church with them. They were laying on the couches watching tv and I figured I had at least 30 minutes of uninterrupted time to get this challenge done. That's what I needed...30 minutes. Here were the parameters for the challenge:
We'll be doing a "Start-to-finish" challenge each Saturday of our course. A Start-to-Finish layout includes actually taking a photo, and using it RIGHT THEN on a scrapbook page.
Here's how our Start-to-Finish challenges work:
You'll take a photo of the assigned topic (this is the start part). You'll edit your photo, and create a page with your photo using the prompts. Then you'll save your layout and upload it to the gallery (this is the finish part).
The trick? From start-to-finish, you've only got 30 minutes. 😀
You can have your paper open and your photo all ready to go, and even have your font installed and ready to use, but from the Start of your layout to Finishing, challenge yourself to 30 minutes or less.
After I read it...you can imagine why I wouldn't really want to do it. Sounds a little hard. But once I got everything opened that I was going to use...executing it actually wasn't that hard to complete in the time suggested. Here's what I came up with...
