The other night we had what turned into a family night. The girls had lost tv for two days for fighting...grrr. And so it was Saturday...the day tv watching had returned! I had promised Laney we could pop some popcorn (she loves popcorn) and watch a movie together. Corey had to work over the holiday weekend but it went so well that he was home by 6:30pm that night. Things couldn't have worked out better. And that seems like such a rare thing sometimes! So we chose a move...ie Corey and I chose one...so there would be no fighting. We chose our favorite...Kung Fu Panda! ;D Maybe Corey and I are kids at heart. We love that move. I'd watch it if the kids weren't around...Corey would too. ;D
So Corey had the kids come in the kitchen and help with putting the popcorn in the microwave. After a bit in the microwave it started to pop. And I heard the ooooo's and aaaahhh's of the girls in the kitchen at the wonder of the popcorn starting to pop. It was ADORABLE!!!! "It's POPPING!" they exclaimed! Oh the wonder that is being a kid...
