If I had to pick…

I was inspired by my dear friend Michelle to do a layout of my favorite movie.  Apparently she was inspired by this post.  I have several favorite movies but if forced to pick one I'd have to say Pride & Prejudice.  But not the version Michelle picked (see her post).  I like this one.  ;D  I am a romantic person.  Some might say a sap.  Tis ok...the person who has to live with me doesn't mind one bit...yay!!!!

One of my favorite parts of the movie is when Elizabeth can't sleep and she gets up and goes walking...her favorite thing to do..."I'm very fond of walking."  She looks up to see Mr. Darcy coming her way.  She sucks in her breath...she's fallen for him and she sees him and realizes just how much in love with him she is.  He's walking along the field in the morning mist and he's just so gosh darn handsome with his coattails flowing out behind him.  Ahhhh.....

And then I love what he says to her when he gets there...among other things, "You've bewitched me body and soul and I love, love, love you."

I love this part in the movie so much cause its how I feel when I see Corey. ;D  Told you I was a sap.  When I see him coming around the corner or over the hill or around the house or whatever.  After all this time...going on 17 years...he still makes me take my breath in like this movie.  ;D

Since I want to emulate Michelle...he he...and I found clips of the movie on YouTube...conveniently...so I thought I'd share one of my other favorite scenes from the movie.  It's when Darcy proposes to Elizabeth.

    WOW! this layout is just stunning! I have no idea how many times I have watched this DVD but every time I love it just as much as the first. You have so totally captured the essence of the movie in your layout - the muted colors of early morning, the quotation, the flowers and other accents.
