One of the first posts of my blog I talked about pumpkins that the girls and I planted from seed. Well...I have an update for you. After a long time of waiting and wondering we did get pumpkins! The frost got the plants a few days ago. Today I went out with a knife so we could harvest the two pumpkins we got from our labor so we can bring them in the house and enjoy them.
As you can see...one is really tiny...and they aren't quite orange yet. But we don't care. The kids are so thrilled that our little "experiment" worked...from seed to pumpkin. I think we'll have to do it again next year. It was so much fun!!!!!
